The Devices menu is where you select all MIDI input and output devices that Cymasphere can use.
MIDI input devices are the MIDI controllers or virtual MIDI devices that you would like to use to create mappings to control any of Cymasphere’s settings. All MIDI mappings are generated in the MIDI Mapping / Controller Assignment menu.
MIDI output devices are the physical or virtual MIDI devices that you would like to direct the output of Cymasphere’s voicing generator to.
Cymasphere creates 2 virtual MIDI ports (1 input and 1 output), both named ‘Cymasphere’, which allows for seamless inter-app routing of MIDI.
The Cymasphere Output port is enabled by default.
The Voice / Channel Matrix further allows custom routing of each voice of Cymasphere’s voicing generator to discrete MIDI channels.
